Heart Atmosphere ~

Blue Lotus

pink velvet
rises from the petals of her heart
tenderness flavored with courage
sweet love
with fiery passion
depth of presence
wisdom
as clarity

poem inspired by Royal who spoke of her friends heart being like pink velvet,
fragile and strong at the same time.

Thank you Royal.

  1. I love lotu's such a pretty flower, very lovely piece. I find that when i photo graph things out side in good light that it shows it up closest to what it's like in real life. I tend to use the scannner just to show details.

    Great work!

  10. When I was in Catholic All Girls Grade School, the nuns used to give us holy cards when we were good.
Your drawings remind me of my holy cards, Tammie.
There is a sacredness about all that you create. I thank you for thanking me about the pink velvet....
    I love you! Royal

  11. Hello Royal,
holy cards, I like that. My teacher of my goddess and poet class which is coming to an end has us drawing eyes so that the attention is to the inner realm not the outer... I suppose that would be similar in holy art as well. Love to you, and thank you. I still hold pink velvet close. xo

I love your photography (I found your other blog first)
It reminds me of my familiar swiss mountains - and a long ago visit to montana
You really capture how awe inspiring, larger than life a mountain landscape can feel

  18. Lovely drawing and a poem, lovely :)
Just looking at the photo of your cabin and think it must be absolutely wonderful living somewhere like that. I live in a middle of a busy city and often think about 'escaping' somewhere more quiet and surrounded by nature, living in a cabin must be the ideal way to do that.
