turquoise eyes

this is an assignment for my goddess and poet class
light sketch first
then developing with colored pencils
then paints, and stamps and more colored pencil
I doubt this is complete.....
still I thought I would share what I am learning

~

I hope this finds you all well,
enjoying beautiful weather.
It has stopped raining here, we have had great amounts of rain this spring.
The world looks like a lush rain forest, thick green everywhere!

Enjoy Sunday sketches at Blue Chair Diaries.

  7. Hi Tammie,
What a great piece ... it looks like you moved into some acrylic after the colour pencils. The layering really shows through which the beauty of mixed media.
I love the celtic knot! I have a lot of celtic designs and literature ... it is so fascinating. Very, very lovely.

  12. Oh I love her - the detail of the stamp over her 'third eye' of pineal gland. Her eyes are two different colours? or is it my computer - i like that too! She is intelligent and dreamy, logical and creative.

  20. Oh my goodness!!!

These pieces have stopped me in my tracks! It seems that all of a sudden, your women have become bolder, more confident and fiery. I absolutely adore the shading on her translucent face and the addition of the paint and stamping. Her EYES are incredible classic beauties. I love the paisleys and the shape of the woman's face up above. And Miss multimedia Divine is gorgeous! Her cheeks and her smile are gorgeous! Yes, something about your spring has turned into summer!
